I am pleased to introduce Kathryn Louise Wood as a full-time member of the Remarkable Journeys team. (In June of 2010, Kate became Remarkable Journeys’ long distance content editor, based in Virginia Beach, VA.) She is an award-winning photographer and long-time artistic colleague of mine. She has a BS Degree in Education (Old Dominion University) and is nationally board-certified as a massage therapist.

Kathryn and Betsy join Bill and little Minna as they restart the journey following the tornado disaster.
Kate is also a professional writer/editor. Her current novel, SEA SNOW—the gentle haunting of a 19th century lighthouse, is available as a downloadable electronic book for Kindle (an e-book reader developed by Amazon Books.) For more information and to view sample pages go to: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B004WDRXMY
A long-time Virginia resident, Kate is the mother of two lovely daughters and proud grandmother of two granddaughters, as well.
Minna and I are delighted that Kate and her cockerspoodle, Betsy, have now joined us as our full-time traveling companions.
Hello Everyone!
Miss Betsy and I are thrilled to be sharing the journey with Bill and Miss Minna. This cross-county odyssey is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity giving me the chance to see North America in a way few people get to experience and, as a writer and photographer, allowing me the joy of expression, unique to this kind of adventure.
Happy Trails,
Kate
How nice to see that the entourage now includes 4 beings–that will double the fun of the reading audience. I look forward to the reports—any chance that Betsy and Minna will want to post a report?
